It’s All In The SMALL Details

Do you pay attention to small details? Man I hope so. I can’t tell you how many times I’m at a business and I look around at so many items that show they DON”T pay attention to the details. If you can’t pay attention to the small details, there’s a chance you won’t pay attention to the LARGE details. Take a look at this picture.

This store went to the trouble of putting up a HUGE sign that says what their hours are. They went to the expense so they can let their customers know when they’re open. The sign is so big, that it’s obvious that their store hours are important to them. But there’s one small glitch. THE SIGN IS BLOCKED! How did that happen? You can barely make out that’s an eight. Now, you may be saying “come on. That’s not that big if a deal”. If you just said that, then you need a lesson in paying attention to the small details. The small details can create more success than you can imagine. It communicates that you’re on top of things, and that you’ve thought things through. It communicates that you care about the small details of your customers. But more importantly, it’s the small details that typically create a unique user experience. We as consumers, LOVE the experience we receive when engaging with products and services.

Step it up a notch and pay attention to the small details. Don’t get caught spending all of your time putting out fires. Take time to find the details about your business so you can create a unique user experience that your customers will never forget!
